Introduction
Hi, I am a recently divorced mother of a beautiful 16 month old baby girl named Enjolie. I would love to meet other single parents for fun and advice!
What is your current marital status and how long have you been on your own (if appropriate)?
I am divorced but emotionally seperated for 5 years from my now ex-husband (I realized he married me to come to the US)
What else would you like us to know about you?
As early as 4 months pregnant, my now ex-husband threatened to abduct our baby. I realized something that in 20 years of working at airlines, hotels and travel agencies I had not noted... It could be easily done since no one ever asks the legitimacy of adults with the children they are travelling with! ANY STRANGER CAN TAKE A CHILD ON A FLIGHT OR TO A HOTEL WITHOUT TRACEABLILITY OR ACCOUNTABLILTY!!! Chilling!!!! This is why I have started a petition to Congress to pass Enjolie's Law. Please take a look at it at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/enjolies-law-parental-consent-required-for-travel and promote its signing to your friends! It is very important we protect our children.
