The Divorced Father's Network is a grass roots peer support nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, fathers and mothers by supporting engaged, effective shared parenting after divorce.

We are currently are not holding regular meetings in SF. There are several groups in the Bay Area that meet regularly. If you are interested in attending, go to www.divorcedfathers.org for more info.

We share ideas, experiences and brainstorm about:

Ways to deal effectively with your kid's other parent
Getting through the divorce process
Talking to the kids about the divorce
Talking to others (family, friends) about the divorce
Hiring a lawyer
Firing a lawyer
Filing forms at the courthouse
Limiting the financial damage
Taking care of yourself mentally and physically through the process
Presenting your case to the judge
Custody arrangements
