Calling all single parents! Face it. We have different challenges and joys than our married friends.
We will have group activities with and without our children. Ideas include outings (baseball, museums, etc...), movie nights, dinners out, potlucks, game nights, parent nights out, and maybe even guest speakers or parenting seminars.
Our goals include:
-Meeting other single parents
-Introducing our children to other single-parented kids
-Learning to deal with challenges that arise
-Effective parenting techniques
-Exploring parenting topics
-Getting out for fun!
Dues are a whopping $1/month so it's $3 for the rest of 2009, or $14 for 2009 & 2010.

Bring your kids - or don't. Last time we had several parents and no kids and had just as much fun.
