Single parents of African American Teens

Meet and support parents of African American teenagers. Participate in enlightening forums about the problems and struggles that surround our teens. We as parents owe our children parental support and community involvement. Our teens need to feel they are a functioning part of society through acceptance and love. Our young adults will participate in goal setting, community outreach and group planning. Lets also not forget all teens love to have fun! Our teens will grasp the concept of proper social interaction through movie night, skating, potluck and hobby sharing. The ultimate goal is for the teens of this meet up is to form a support group of free speech, listening, problem resolution and support in a safe structured environment. The parents of this group will need to offer a listening ear and caring open heart to our children's concerns and feelings. While the single parents of this group lend a helping hand to fellow members through experience and honesty; our teens will be engaging and helping each other..........that' s love.
