Our group's mission is to lesson the isolation & pressures involved in being a single parent family by developing positive & affirming friendships, both for us & our children.

Ideally, friendships we develop will facilitate our individual & collective personal/spiritual growth & happiness through:
understanding, not judging
altruism, not egotism
helping, not hurting
cherishing, not snubbing
intimacy, not isolation
inspiring, not discouraging
compassion, not apathy
support, not opposition
interconnectedness, not disengagement
tranquility, not drama
loyalty, not inconsistency ...
and learning to laugh really hard again- even on the bad days!

By cultivating adult friendships with those who understand the unique demands of being a single parent we can grow together, learn together, cry together, smile together and raise our children together as a community that consists of true friends.
