Helloooooo, East Siders!

This group is about getting outdoors (or with this year's weather, having indoor adventures) with parents and kids!

Being a single parent is hard--and great. One of the biggest challenges is consistently finding new, interesting, active things to do--and then making the commitment to get out and do them. It's so easy to get into a rut!

In this group, we'll teach each other about new, fun things to do in the area.

The main focus of this group is family-centered activity and friendship, not divorce support (there are several groups with that focus). However, there's always room to support each other in whatever way is needed, and lots of room for adults-only meetings too--especially on those weekends or other times when the kiddos are away.

We have a huge number of single-parent families on the Eastside. The Eastside (which includes everything out to Snoqualmie pass) doesn't end in Bellevue, and I see the mid-point of this group's activities as probably in the Issaquah area or farther east.

Lets get together and play!
